Friday Fill-ins 10.14.2011

1. It's easy to get so frustrated at work these days.

3. Once upon a time, there was a 38 1/2 week pregnant woman who is ready to meet her baby.

5. What is your favorite childhood vacation?

6. To keep myself motivated, I have to keep reminding myself that the baby will be here sooner than later.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to exciting amounts of laundry (and waiting to see if I go into labor), tomorrow my plans include hanging out with my little guy while Matt works (and waiting to see if I go into labor) and Sunday, I want to make it to Mass, if I haven't gone into labor!

I'm a little pathetic these days, huh?

Friday Fill-ins 10.07.11

1. How can I have such swollen ankles all of the sudden.

2. I am feeling pretty content at the moment.

3. That summer, of Jack's birth, I remember feeling "done" at this point in my pregnancy.

4. When we were growing up, my parents trusted our choice in friends and we respected that.
5. What was the best memory of Halloween for you?
6. Because I've moved so much in my short life, I know it can be difficult to stay in touch.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to dinner with a couple of friends (likely the last girls night out before this baby arrives), tomorrow my plans include nesting and getting the infant car seat installed in the car finally and Sunday, I want to enjoy some down time with my boys!

1. When I walk around my neighborhood I see my neighbors out and about enjoying this wonderful fall weather.
2. Chocolate marbled cheesecake is my favorite thing to cook.

3. Life is wonderful.
4. My little boy saying "Jack make Mommy happy" makes me feel all warm and fuzzy
5. Pumpkin is my favorite Autumn vegetable.
6. Watching a TV show is better when it is previously recorded; you get to skip commercials.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to relaxing and doing some laundry, tomorrow my plans include attending a college friend's wedding and Sunday, I want to celebrate my sister-in-law's little boy at her baby shower!

Friday Fill-ins 09.09.11

Its been a rough week at work... very happy it is the weekend!  Here's this week's fill-ins:


1. Do they have to always question my judgement.

2. Left work on time today but felt like I had missed a memo; it was as if everyone was told to leave early.

3. That was a crazy game of poker.
4. Things were different at work before yesterday when everything seemed so comfortable.

5. As I said, yesterday's weather in Ohio was fitting for some things that happened.

6. With everything happening recently, having babies early seems to be some new twist.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to getting a gift for some friends' baby that was just born, tomorrow my plans include spending time with my baby boy while Matt works and Sunday, I want to get to Mass, especially since we missed last weekend!

Friday Fill-Ins 8.26.11

1. How in the world did I get through this work week and maintain some level of sanity?

2. Could not be more excited for the weekend with my boys that lies in front of me.

3. Life's a beach... let's have a ball.

4. One way we get Jack to eat, even if its just in the living room, is a picnic lunch.

5. That was where we enjoyed many a picky day meals.

6. The restaurant where we got engaged and had our rehearsal dinner is where I think of as "our place".

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to relaxing and hopefully going to bed early, tomorrow my plans include working on homemade Christmas 2012 gifts for family and friends (I know it's early, but I should at least start before I have baby #2) and Sunday, I want to enjoy Mass with my husband and son!

2. This week, never felt like she had to answer so many ridiculous questions at work in one day.

3. Three things on my desk: (at work) Chemical & Engineering News, a clipboard, and my lab notebook.

4. Getting prepped for my meetings on Monday & Tuesday is the one thing I HAVE to do today!

5. I love playing with my sweet little boy.

6. They installed a new automatic air freshener in the women's bathroom in my building and it overwhelms the senses.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to going to our parish festival, tomorrow my plans include checking out our local used cloth diaper sale and Sunday, I want to enjoy my goddaughter's birthday party and get to celebrate my dad's birthday!

Sorry, I haven't posted much lately... work has been insane!  I have a few posts in the works, so stay tuned!

1. Summer is my favorite time to commute to work because I have to drive past 3 schools.
2. Nothing is unchanged after having a baby, but that is a good thing.
3. Aargh!  Pretty much describes my work week.
4. Even though I'm pregnant, I still have to have my Dr. Pepper in the morning.

5. Seven: Days until next Friday.

6. This summer has gone by fast, don't you think?

And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to possibly going to see an outdoor family friendly concert, tomorrow my plans include using my pedicure gift certificate & seeing my sister's play she's stage managing and Sunday, I want to enjoy some quality time with my boys before a friend's baby shower!

2. I took a trip down memory lane when we went to Texas and I got to see a bunch of high school friends!

3. Kids, at least mine, are my reason for existance because I love being a mom.

4. Sleeping in, lots of family time, trying new things; these are some of the best things about vacation.
5. Love is all around me.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to laying low & making buffalo chicken dip, tomorrow my plans include getting a haircut & my brother's high school graduation party and Sunday, I want to relax with my boys a bit!

1. This week I had my mid-year review with my boss, and it went well (phew).

2. I am hoping this weekend is when the sun returns.

4. It is important to me to keep my son safe in the sun.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to my brother's Baccalaureate [graduation] Mass, tomorrow my plans include going to the first of many 2 year old birthday parties and Sunday, I want to enjoy my baby brother's high school graduation and lunch with family!

6. Imagine that in 6 days, my baby boy will be ONE.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to playing Wii with Matt (Yes, I realize how goofy we are), tomorrow my plans include enjoying some Mommy-Jack time and then hopefully seeing a movie with the girls and Sunday, I want to go shopping for Jack's birthday party [food] supplies!

2. When I think about my childhood, I often remember the good & "bad" of family road trips to visit our extended family.

And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to spending time with my boys and packing for Matt & I spending an overnight away, tomorrow my plans include going to Cincinnati for a friend's wedding and Sunday, I want to enjoy Brennan's 1st birthday party and spending time with Matt and Jack!

Wow... haven't done one of these in a while!

1. Deli sandwiches -- the best food to take on a picnic.
2. Summer is unofficially starting this weekend.
3. I miss college because summer makes me always want to wear flip flops.
4. To love someone is the best feeling in the world, even more wonderful than the feeling when they love you back.
5. The weekend after we found out I was pregnant with Jack (over a year & a half ago) we went camping (as planned) and took a long hike.
6. When I crave food, it's usually specific, and usually something sweet or salty.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to relaxing with my boys and watering the flowers, tomorrow my plans include going to Miss. Abigail's 1st birthday party and Sunday, I want to enjoy the fact that it won't be the last day of the weekend!

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to seeing Mike who is in town from FL, tomorrow my plans include going to work to meet my family who is picking up product that was donated for my brother's Eagle Scout project and Sunday, I want to relax with my boys and get our yard work in!

6. The image I cherish most is either holding my son for the first time or the first time Jack got a huge grin and crawled to me when I walked in the door from work.

And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to relaxing with my boys, tomorrow my plans include getting Jack's 9 month pictures taken and getting a head start on Mother's Day shopping (I can only explain after Mother's Day) and Sunday, I want to relax with my boys, and maybe do some work planning out my flower beds for spring!
